Glintt launches a new brand that is focused on technological areas and that will work on the Iberian market.
The CEO and President of the Executive Committee of Glintt says that this is yet another transformation in a company that “has gone through several moments of transformation in recent years”, and that has grown 60% since 2006, doubling revenues and operating results, he says.Nexllence, powered by Glintt, is the name of the new brand launched by Glintt at a time that Nuno Vasco Lopes admits is apparently strange given the contingencies of COVID19.
The technology and consulting multinational is listed on Euronext and in 2018 it had a turnover of 86.2 million euros. Glintt – Global Intelligent Technologies has more than 1,100 employees operating from 10 offices in 6 countries, in addition to Portugal, Spain, Angola, Brazil, the United Kingdom and Ireland.
The company has been focused on the Health area, for historical reasons of the merger between Consiste and Pararede, and combines more than 20 years of experience, but over this time it has also developed solutions in other areas that it has now decided to reposition in the market with Nexllence, which starts with 300 people and a portfolio of projects carried out and under development in the curriculum.
Glintt launches a new brand that is focused on technological areas and that will work on the Iberian market.
The new brand results from the evolution of two existing business units, the application consulting area and the infrastructure area, which operate in technological areas of great specialty and specificity in a market that is increasingly global.
“It is a part of our strategy … we spoke with dozens of technology leaders from our customers to understand what they wanted to do”, explains David Faustino, responsible for the new area. The IT Consulting & Corporate Market Director says that this is Nexllence’s zero day, but nonetheless underlines that it is “on a significant and fast track, already 12% above last year”, adding that it believes it will “reach the end of the year with significant growth “.
The new area is starting with 300 people, focusing on the market in Portugal and Spain, working globally to incorporate projects that are already being developed in 5 countries, and with support for 40 countries. David Faustino underlines the development of technologies in the Low Code, Application Development, Process Automation or 5G area and some ongoing projects with the Public Administration in digital identity with telecommunications operators in the fraud area and, in retail, with the loyalty area of customers.
