Digital Mobile Key:Nexllence explains how works without leaving home
If you have the PIN and card reader, you can activate the key without leaving home at autenticação.gov.pt. Alternatively, you can request your Digital Mobile Key via Portal das Finanças. And without ever leaving home!
The Digital Mobile Key (CMD) is a project of Nexllence, powered by Glintt, in collaboration with the Administrative Modernization Agency (AMA).
Nexllence developed new features that brought commodity to this solution, such as the digital signature or joining at Portal das Finanças or AUTENTICAÇÃO.GOV.
Given the current situation, choose to activate your Digital Mobile Key online. You can make the activation using the Citizen Card or the Portal Finance password. On the AUTENTICAÇÃO.GOV website we explain how to do it. You can also use the App “Authentication.GOV".
Why is the Digital Mobile Key so important?
Associated to the Identity Card, this solution allows to identify a user online with the Public Administration services, without having to read the card’s chip. This is a simple, secure form of authentication for multiple public and private websites by using just a telephone number and a 4 to 8-digit PIN. It allows to use countless services online – both for citizens and companies – and also to sign PDF documents, among other formats. Using the CMD to sign via the Professional Attributes Certification System (SCAP) is already possible, allowing to certify citizen capacities or powers, within a professional or corporate context, for the signing of documents and authentication on websites.

All services included at Portal de Cidadão, Portal das Finanças, Portal da Saúde and Segurança Social Direta, online certificate of criminal record, driver’s licence renewal, Escola 360 and requests concerning certificates of the civil registry.
Main services available to businesses:
All services included at Balcão do Empreendedor, incorporation and registration of companies, marca na hora, certificates of commercial registry, commercial and industrial establishments, registration of local accommodation and real estate companies.
The CMD solution was the winner of the PORTUGAL DIGITAL AWARDS 2018 in the category of Best Digital Transformation, in 2018.
